Notes:

  1. The endurance rating was calculated based on a JESD219A enterprise workload.
  2. Performance was measured using FIO on Linux with Queue Depth 256 (4 KB = 4,096 bytes).
  3. Power loss protection circuit design is available on SNV3500 to further prevent data corruption in case of power failure.
  4. DSM version requirement: 6.2.3-25426 or later version
  5. Performance figures are obtained through SMB sequential throughput tests using Windows Server 2016 Datacenter on a a DS1821+ with a Synology 10GbE NIC and SSD. Actual performance may vary depending on the testing environment, usage, and configuration. See performance charts for more information.
  6. PCIe add-in cards, expansion units, and storage drives are sold separately. Refer to the compatibility list for compatible devices.
  7. Synology SNV3400 series M.2 NVMe SSD drives can be installed through the built-in M.2 slots to enable SSD caching or create SSD storage pools. Drives are sold separately.
