Amazon has removed API access to its Drive service

Starting from November 1, 2020, Synology Cloud Sync and Hyper Backup will no longer be able to connect to Amazon Drive. Your data will still be retained on Amazon Drive but will no longer be accessible from Synology applications.

Ease the transition with a year of C2 Backup, free of charge

Maintaining a remote backup is important. For affected users, apply before January 31, 2021 to get free access to C2 Backup until March 31, 2021.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

  • Promotional storage is only available for users without existing C2 subscriptions who are currently using Amazon Drive with Synology Hyper Backup and/or Cloud Sync.
  • Promotional C2 storage is only valid until March 31, 2021, regardless of the registration date. To ensure continued service afterwards, a valid payment method must be provided. You will be charged based on the capacity you selected, after the promotion ends.
  • After submitting your request, it will take 7 business days or longer to process. Synology reserves the right to decline any application and to remove any applied promotional C2 storage if we suspect abuse of use.
