We are accepting all submissions of tips for backup, protection and recovery, but here are a few examples of the types of submissions our judges are looking for.
Keeping your files in sync
Do you find yourself working from multiple computers as you travel between different locations? Let us know how you keep everything organized and fully backed up.

Have you ever experienced the pain of lost data on your phone? What strategy do you use to keep this from happening again?

- Written in English
- A minimum of 25 words
- First-hand (cannot be advice that you have not had experience implementing)
Judging criteria

Presentation 40%
Your submission should be clear and informative. A submission that is presented in a compelling and understandable manner will be scored higher than a submission that is difficult to parse.

Insight 60%
Your submission should share insightful, applicable tips or advice for data backup and recovery. “Joke” submissions will give our judges a good laugh, but are unlikely to win.
Competition details
- Grand prize: DS423+ with four Plus Series 4 TB drives
- Competition is only valid for residents of the USA
- No purchase necessary
- One winner will be chosen by a panel of judges, appointed by Synology, to receive the prize
- The deadline for submission is March 31, 2024 at 11:59 pm PT
- Participants will receive an official winner announcement (name of winner will be partially masked to protect their privacy) by email on April 9, 2024
